UBS Hosts Networking and Mock Interview Event in NYC

UBS Veterans

On Tuesday, July 10th, 33 of ACP’s Veteran Protégés attended a mock interview and networking event at UBS’ office in New York City. Senior UBS employees from various sectors of the company were present and conducted two mock interview sessions with ACP Protégés. UBS Interviewers provided each veteran with constructive feedback on their interview techniques in order to further his or her professional growth.

The evening began with remarks from Paul Hatch, the Executive Sponsor of the UBS Veterans Network and the Northeast Division Director for Wealth Management, and Tom Naratil, the President of UBS Americas. After a stellar introduction to UBS’ Veteran initiatives, attendees heard from Brigadier General Loree Sutton (Commissioner for New York City’s Department of Veterans’ Services). Next, ACP’s Founder and Chairman Sidney Goodfriend took the stage, providing background on ACP’s mission and extensive partnership with UBS. His statements kicked off the mock interview session.

Participants then turned to their UBS counterparts and engaged in two 20-minute mock interviews. UBS Interviewers provided ACP Protégés with verbal feedback on their dialogues, complete with an evaluation form for further professional growth.

The evening concluded with remarks from Tom Troy, Vice Chairman of UBS and a member of ACP’s Advisory Council. ACP Protégés and UBS employees were then invited to enjoy an open networking reception.

ACP would like to thank UBS for organizing the event and hosting a wonderful evening for our nation’s service members!
