ACP's Career Blueprint: Women's Program - Her Service, Her Story - A Legacy of Leadership

On July 31st, ACP hosted an inspiring conversation as part of its Women Veterans Program, celebrating the strength, resilience, and leadership of women Veterans transitioning from military to civilian life. The session, “Her Service, Her Story – A Legacy of Leadership,” featured two dynamic Mentor/Protégé pairs—one currently in the program and one alumnae pair who had already completed their mentorship. Together, they shared their personal journeys, the challenges and successes of military transition, and how mentorship shaped their career paths and confidence.

The conversation explored what leadership looks like after service, how to build and maintain a strong Mentor-Protégé relationship, and the lessons learned from entering new industries. The panelists also offered thoughtful advice for women Veterans who may feel uncertain about their identity, direction, or next career steps. This event provided a unique opportunity to hear real stories, ask questions, and connect with other women Veterans walking a similar path.
