October 25, 2021 - ACP has named Jana Toner as Senior Vice President to work closely with ACP’s senior leadership team in continuing the organization’s growth trajectory. Toner will expand ACP’s reach by building relationships with national government officials, corporate leaders and veteran service organizations.

“Jana is an excellent choice for ACP’s bipartisan approach to our nonprofit’s mission to provide a free, customized mentorship experience for post-9/11 veterans and active duty spouses,” said ACP Chairman and Founder Sid Goodfriend. “She has strong executive experience leading communications initiatives and legislative and policy campaigns at the federal and state level, as well as a proven track record of success on the Hill. Her work with the Second Lady on behalf of military families was impactful.”

Toner most recently served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the Second Lady at The White House, where she leveraged the Second Lady’s platform to launch initiatives and achieve successes with military spouses and mental health and worked in support of bipartisan solutions with cabinet secretaries, governors, members of Congress and corporate and nonprofit leaders. Prior, Toner was the Associate Director of Presidential Personnel at the White House.

“After following the work being done by ACP, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and my work in D.C, I am ready to be a part of their mission to drive solutions to further transitioning military veterans’ priorities,” said Toner.

Toner resides in Washington D.C. with her husband and children. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
