UPS hosts Transition Symposium for Atlanta Protégés

On Thursday, May 18, UPS hosted a Veteran Transition Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. More than 100 veterans, UPS employees and community volunteers attended the event, which started with hors d’oeuvres and networking. Chris Peck, Vice President of Human Resources at UPS, welcomed the crowd and introduced the keynote speaker, Georgia State Senator Hunter Hill. Three panel discussions followed, focusing on employment, education and healthcare. Veterans learned about writing résumés and job searching, the post 9/11 GI Bill and VA benefits. ACP would like to thank UPS for hosting the informative event!
