Oxy Hosts a Networking Event in Houston

On November 14th employees of Occidental Petroleum (Oxy) and Houston-area veterans joined together for a networking event at the Houston Renaissance Greenway Hotel.  The event featured speakers talking about their experiences in the ACP Program, including Oxy Mentors Alana Sotiri (Director of Human Resources and Services) and Kirk Sparkman (Occidental Oil and Gas - Senior Geological Advisor).  ACP's Manager of Veteran Relations, Brett Sheats, was also in attendance, and gave a short history of ACP and its operations to the audience.  Houston-area veterans were able to talk to Oxy employees and get a sense of the types of positions at Oxy and the overall corporate culture.
