Deloitte Hosts Panel Discussion: Paths to Success, Perspectives from leaders on starting and building a successful civilian career

On Tuesday, April 10, approximately 50 ACP Protégés attended a panel discussion and networking event at Deloitte's offices in New York City. The panel, entitled Paths to Success: Perspectives from leaders on starting and building a successful civilian career, featured senior professionals who provided insight on adjusting to new roles in Corporate America.

The panelists included Ted Dezeballa, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer of Deloitte's Global Risk Advisory Practice; Daniel Selli, U.S. Marine Corps, a Federal Human Capital Consultant in Deloitte's Organization Transformation & Talent Service Line; Monte Zaben, U.S. Marine Corps, a Deloitte Advisory Principal and Lead Client Service Principal; and Michael Farina, U.S. Army, the Head of Shared Investigative Services for Standard Chartered Bank. The panel was moderated by ACP Mentor and Deloitte Financial Services Advisory Principal Matt Widmer.

After the panel, veteran attendees participated in a speed networking session with Deloitte leaders where they were given the opportunity to practice elevator pitches and receive written feedback. Following the session, participants enjoyed an open networking reception.

ACP would like to thank Deloitte's Kevin Delli-Colli, Danielle Gallagher, Matt Widmer, and John Wolsborn for organizing a wonderful evening.
