Barclays Hosts Mock Interview and Networking Session for ACP Protégés

Fifty New York City ACP Protégés gathered at Barclays Capital on Thursday, September 26, 2013 for a Mock Interview and Networking Session with Barclays Mentors and employees. Participants were welcomed by David Martin, Managing Director and Co-Head of the Military Services Network at Barclays and ACP Founder, Sid Goodfriend. After introductions, ACP Protégés had the opportunity to perform two different mock interviews with corporate professionals from Barclays, receiving personalized feedback and résumé review. Following the interview sessions, attendees enjoyed networking while being served light refreshments.

After the event, one ACP Protégé stated, "The real impact of ACP and your work there probably may not mature for several years, but rest assured that you are completely changing the trajectory of our jobs and, as a result, our lives. These opportunities are unique and extremely valuable, especially to those of us working to break into something as competitive as finance in New York City."
