ACP’s Career Blueprint: Positive Leadership

On September 12th, ACP was joined by panelist Maureen Elias for an insightful conversation about positive leadership. Maureen is a U.S. Army Veteran, proud military retiree spouse, mother to three, and currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Maureen has been an active member of the military and veteran community for over 22 years and uses her lens as both veteran and military retiree spouse to positively impact policy decisions. She also volunteers with the Armed Services Arts Partnership as a storytelling instructor, helping Veterans, service members, their families, survivors, and caregivers learn to share their stories in ways that are meaningful. Maureen honed the discussion on leadership styles, different techniques for working with different personalities, and how to provide room for team building and personal growth. The event concluded with a live Q&A session with the virtual audience.
