ACP Presents: From Screen to Service: A Conversation with the Creators of SHEEPDOG

On September 18, ACP hosted an exclusive conversation with SHEEPDOG director and actor Steven Grayhm (The Five People You Meet in Heaven, White Chicks) along with actors Vondie Curtis Hall (Harriet, Daredevil), Dominic Fumusa (13 Hours, The Sopranos), and Lilli Cooper (Tootsie The Musical, The Post). Together, they shared the inspiration behind the film and its powerful connection to the Veteran and military community. This event was more than just a Q&A about a movie—it was a deep dive into: The profound research and real-life stories that shaped the film. The responsibility of portraying Veteran and military-connected characters with authenticity and respect. The film’s central themes of post-traumatic growth, mentorship, and the strength of community. The discussion also highlighted the Pay It Forward Campaign, which empowers audiences to support screenings for Veterans, first responders, and others who could benefit from the film’s message of resilience.
SHEEPDOG stands as a story of resilience for all of us.
