ACP Participants Attend Panel Discussion and Networking Event at General Mills Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN

On Wednesday, April 15, 2015, more than 70 ACP Protégés and Mentors gathered at General Mills Headquarters in Minneapolis for a Panel Discussion and Networking event. Attendees were joined by representatives from 3M, Allianz, Cargill, Genesis10, Medtronic, Optum, UnitedHealth Group, UPS, and Wells Fargo.

The event was moderated by Levi Severson of General Mills, who also provided the opening remarks. The diverse array of panelists included Eric Alhness (Cargill), Chris Krug (Wells Fargo), Karly Mangen (General Mills), and Brian Ritchie (UPS). Each individual drew upon their own experiences leaving the military for the civilian world and offered advice on how to make a successful transition to the corporate workplace. The discussion included strategies to use while searching for a job, résumé and interview tips, and candid feedback on corporate culture.

Afterwards, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to network over light refreshments.
