ACP Celebrates 10 Years

gala

On October 24, ACP celebrated ten years of service to our nation’s veterans who have generously given their time to serve us. More than 320 guests from around the country gathered in New York City at the Pierre Hotel to celebrate the more than 13,000 veterans who have successfully completed an ACP mentorship.

ACP Mentors and veteran Alumni spoke at the event and shared their personal stories of transition and mentorship. ACP was proud to honor PepsiCo, our first corporate partner, for their work leading the way in our efforts and for their continued generosity and support of ACP’s work. Albert P. Carey, Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo North America, accepted the award on behalf of PepsiCo, and reaffirmed their commitment to ACP’s work - today and into the future.

ACP would like to thank all of the donors who generously gave to support our 10th Anniversary Celebration. Over $1 million was raised to support ACP’s Citizens Program. Thanks to these donations an additional 1,000 veterans will be supported during their transition by an ACP Mentor.

To all our veteran Proteges, veteran Alumni, Mentors, corporate partners and Citizens Program supporters – thank you for ten wonderful years! We look forward to another decade of serving those who have served us.
