- Overview and Acceptance
ACP values the privacy of its participants and users of its services. By participating in ACP programs or using ACP services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy & Terms of Service and the practices described herein.
- Participant Representations, Risk, and Liability
By participating in ACP programs, each Mentor and Protégé represents and warrants that all information provided is true, accurate, and current. ACP does not independently verify participant information and makes no representations or warranties regarding its accuracy or completeness. ACP shall not be responsible or liable for the actions, conduct, or decisions of any participant. Each participant acknowledges that participation in the Program involves inherent risks and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, waives, releases, and holds harmless ACP, other participants, and any participant’s affiliated organization from any claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising directly or indirectly from Program participation.
- Information Collection, Use, and Confidentiality
ACP collects only information that is publicly available or voluntarily provided by participants during onboarding or program participation, including professional and personal information such as name, employer, job title, photographs, and contact details. This information is used for program administration, including matching Mentors and Protégés, and for communication related to program participation. Information may be shared with prospective or current participants as part of the matching or engagement process. ACP does not verify participant-provided information and treats all participant information as confidential. All ACP staff and members are required to sign confidentiality agreements, and information is disclosed only as necessary for program participation or administration.
- Communications, Technology, and Data Security
By providing contact information, participants consent to receive communications from ACP related to program participation and operational notices. ACP may use limited technology, such as cookies, to support basic functionality. ACP maintains reasonable administrative and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, though no system can guarantee absolute security.
- Information Sharing, Updates, and Contact
ACP does not sell, rent, or trade personal information about participants or donors. ACP may disclose information to service providers under confidentiality obligations or as required by law. ACP reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy & Terms at any time, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of any updates.
