Washington Nationals Hosted ACP for a Panel on Empowering Veteran & Military Spouse Careers

On Wednesday, June 5, the Washington Nationals welcomed ACP Protégés, Mentors, Alumni, and staff to Nationals Park for Empowering Veteran & Military Spouse Careers, a dynamic panel discussion focused on career growth and transition.
“The energy at Nationals Park was truly unmatched,” said Nicole Murray, ACP’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. “Hearing directly from executives at an organization as respected as the Nationals, all while surrounded by the excitement of baseball, gives our Veterans and Military Spouses the specific, actionable advice they need to translate their military service into thriving civilian careers. This partnership creates truly memorable and meaningful career-building opportunities in a setting that inspires excellence.”
Nationals business and baseball executives, including Jason Beckwith, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Wendy Bailey, Executive Director, Content & Broadcasting, Gregory McCarthy, Senior Vice President, Community Engagement, and Sean Hudson, Director, Community Relations, shared valuable insights and practical advice on navigating the job search, building professional networks, and thriving in the sports industry.
Following the panel, attendees were invited onto the field for photos and to watch batting practice before the Nationals’ home game against the Chicago Cubs. Guests also had the opportunity to see the 2019 World Series trophy in the Champions Club.
ACP extends its sincere thanks to the Washington Nationals for hosting this impactful event and providing such a memorable experience for our community of Veterans and Military Spouses.
