ACP Hosts New Mentor Orientation Call - 2017 Quarter Four

On Monday, December 18th, ACP held a conference call for new Mentors which covered ACP's history and best practices for mentorship.

The call began with opening remarks from ACP Chairman Sid Goodfriend regarding ACP's history and the different demographics of ACP's Protégés. Following the opening remarks, ACP Mentor Mike Spano from IBM drew from his experiences from his ten mentorships and offered advice regarding best practices.

Key tips included engaging in active listening, setting structure, remaining flexible, and celebrating achievements. The call concluded with a few questions from participants. A special thanks to Mike and all the participants!

ACP holds these calls quarterly, with the next call scheduled for March 1, 2018.
