On November 26th, ACP hosted an empowering webinar, “Break into STEM – Insights for Women Veterans,” featuring TEKsystems employees Samira Searcy, Senior ID&E Strategist for Military Programs, and Tracy Stine, Senior Leader of Talent Delivery, and ACP’s VP of Strategic Initiatives, Kasie Valenti. This session provided valuable guidance for women Veterans looking to launch or grow their careers in STEM fields. Samira and Tracy shared their journeys, discussed challenges they’ve encountered in the male-dominated tech industry, and offered practical advice on navigating your career transition into STEM. They also addressed key strategies, from showcasing transferable skills to building a robust professional network.
