On August 4th, ACP hosted a special edition of its Career Blueprint focused on what makes a mentorship truly successful and how participants can make the most of their ACP mentorship.
The session featured Natalie Johnson, ACP’s VP of Programs, and Wayne Brinkman, a longtime ACP Mentor who has mentored with ACP for more than 14 years and guided 15 Protégés. Wayne also shared insights from his 23-year career at Aon, where he currently serves as Senior Risk Casualty Executive Consultant, as well as his extensive experience mentoring individuals across a variety of industries.
The conversation provided practical guidance for both Mentors and Protégés, highlighting strategies for building strong relationships, setting expectations, and maximizing the value of mentorship. Attendees gained actionable tips for making mentorship a meaningful and productive experience throughout their professional journey.
