ACP Presents : Transitioning from Mission to Markets with BNP Paribas

February 26, 2026

On February 26th, ACP hosted a live conversation with BNP Paribas exploring career opportunities for Veterans in global markets. As a leading global financial services firm operating in 65 countries with nearly 190,000 employees worldwide, BNP Paribas plays a significant role across capital markets, asset management, insurance, and wealth management.

The session featured former U.S. Air Force Officer Matthew Mueller, now an Equity Derivatives Trader at BNP Paribas, who shared insights on building a career in global markets through mentorship and effective skill translation. Drawing on both his military and civilian experience, he discussed career pathways, decision-making processes, and strategies for navigating complex financial roles.

Attendees learned how Veterans and Active-Duty Military Spouses can leverage mentorship, transferable skills, and strategic planning to transition successfully into impactful civilian careers within the financial sector.
