ACP Presents: The Essentials of Responsible Borrowing with Citizens

July 21, 2026

On July 21st, ACP hosted the next installment of its Financial Education Series in partnership with Citizens, one of the nation’s oldest and largest financial institutions. Presented through the Citizens Money Essentials program, the session focused on the fundamentals of responsible borrowing and the role credit can play in achieving long-term financial goals.

The discussion featured Johan Soler (Assistant Vice President and Multi-Branch Manager at Citizens), who provided an overview of common borrowing options, explained the costs and responsibilities associated with taking on debt, and shared key considerations for making informed financial decisions.

Attendees gained practical guidance on evaluating borrowing needs, understanding the impact of credit, and developing healthy financial habits to support long-term financial well-being. The webinar equipped participants with valuable tools to make confident and informed borrowing decisions.
