On August 1st, ACP and Hearst hosted an inside look into the company, focusing on its culture, support for the military community, and various job opportunities for Veterans. Hearst is one of the world’s largest global, diversified information, services, and media companies. A proud partner with ACP since 2017, Hearst provides its employees the opportunity to help the military community find pathways to joint success.
The panel featured Hearst employees: Kevin Johnson, Director of Veteran Recruiting, and Sharon Cabello, Sr. Director of Human Resources. They provided personal insight into the company, how to leverage resources and stand out as a candidate for opportunities. The panelists also shared the benefits of working at Hearst and the upward mobility it can provide. Hearst is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for Veterans, exemplified by the various employee resource groups (ERGs) that offer employees the chance to find their community. A live Q&A session followed the discussion.
