ACP Presents: Exploring Education Careers for Veterans and Active Duty Spouses

April 25, 2024

On April 25th, ACP and Harvard University hosted an insightful webinar on hiring opportunities in the higher education sector. Harvard University offers extensive benefits for its employees to further their education and provides resources to support mental health. The university has also launched its SkillBridge program to encourage Veterans and Military Spouses to advance their careers.

Harvard’s panelists featured: William Ward, US Air Force Veteran and Human Resources Coordinator; Tim Halloran, serving as a Director of Talent Acquisition Operations; Angie Boudreau, Associate Director of Strategic Talent Sourcing & Discovery; and Kimberly Moton, serving as Managing Director, Talent Acquisition & Outreach at Harvard. Each panelist provided insights on ways to enter the industry, the value of volunteerism as a form of work experience, what to showcase in your resume and cover letter, and more. The event was followed by a very communicative Q&A. We thank you and your family for your service.
