On July 2nd, ACP was joined by NASCAR, America’s #1 motorsport, which has shown steadfast support for the U.S. Armed Forces. This commitment continues today as they focus on NASCAR’s involvement with the military community, careers and Skillbridge opportunities for those interested in the sports industry. Whether you’re actively transitioning or simply seeking a new opportunity, ACP and NASCAR provide an insightful exploration of how the sport supports Veterans and fosters growth through collaboration.
The panel featured NASCAR leaders John Ferguson, SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer; Lindsay Hall, Senior Director of Marketing Strategy; C.J. Tobin, former US Army Officer and Senior Engineer, Vehicle Systems; and Pete Stuart, Managing Director of Impact Strategy & Development. They shared how the sport creates meaningful engagements for Veterans while continuing a long-held tradition of military appreciation across the industry. The team encouraged networking across different platforms and obtaining certifications that will be helpful in the near future. The panel was followed by a live Q&A session and concluded with transition tips.
