On February 10th, ACP hosted an interactive résumé readiness session with RTX, a global aerospace and defense company advancing aviation, building smarter defense systems, and developing innovations that span from Earth to space. The session focused on helping Veterans prepare strong, effective résumés for careers across the aerospace and defense industry.
RTX professionals Stacy Garnett and Gary Halstead provided guidance on translating military experience into clear, civilian-friendly language, framing mission impact for corporate roles, and aligning skills with job requirements across the organization.
Together, they explored how Veterans can strengthen their résumés, highlight transferable skills, and position themselves for opportunities in aerospace, engineering, operations, supply chain, and corporate functions. Attendees left with practical strategies to better present their experience and pursue roles within the industry with greater confidence.
