On April 28th, ACP hosted a Career Blueprint webinar featuring Roy Lemons, Chief Security Officer at International Paper. With a career that included more than a decade in the Army, over 20 years with the FBI, and nearly a decade in the corporate sector, Roy brought a unique perspective on what it takes to build a successful career beyond military service.
The conversation focused on key elements of career development that extend beyond the résumé, including how to effectively translate experience, build meaningful professional connections, and approach the job search with intention. Roy also shared insights on navigating networking conversations, preparing for interviews, and identifying roles and organizations aligned with personal values and long-term goals.
