ACP’s Industry Exploration Webcast Series

Seventy percent of ACP’s veteran applicants are unsure of what industries they plan to enter after the military. In response, ACP is working with its Partner Companies to provide exposure to different industries and insight into diverse career opportunities.

ACP’s Industry Exploration Webcast Series consist of hourlong sessions featuring a panel of employees across different divisions within the company. Company employees will provide an overview of career paths and the hiring process, and will answer questions from veterans across the country. After the event, veterans are invited to apply to open positions.

ACP Presents: MetLife Career Development Webcast

On Tuesday, October 2nd, ACP and MetLife cohosted a career development webcast. ACP Founder and Chairman, Sid Goodfriend, moderated a discussion amongst panelists Paul Travers, Senior VP, Finance Technology, Data & Process, Erica Langdon, Assistant VP of Global Talent, and Tim McClain, U.S. Initiatives Consultant, Global Diversity & Inclusion. The discussion focused on careers at MetLife, the company’s veteran initiatives, as well as and ways to succeed in corporate America. Following the event, veterans who RSVP’d were invited to be matched with a MetLife recruiter for a career conversation. ACP would like to thank the panelists and the MetLife studio team for hosting a wonderful event!
