ACP Presents Award for Excellence in Veteran Engagement and Integration to UBS during NYC Veterans Day Event

On Friday, November 11th, ACP Founder and Chairman Sid Goodfriend presented the ACP Award for Excellence in Veteran Engagement and Integration to UBS at a Veterans Day reception. This award is given to a company which leads by example in the recruiting, hiring, training and retention of returning U.S. veterans so they may develop lasting careers. ACP is not only appreciative of UBS' continued support as a Participating Institution, but also the company's active engagement in the veteran community.

Lori Feinsilver, Head of Community Affairs and Executive Communications, provided opening remarks on the long-standing partnership between ACP and UBS. Mr. Goodfriend thanked the hundreds of UBS employees who have mentored more than 400 ACP veterans in the last three years before sharing a video of Protégés thanking their UBS Mentors for their support and guidance. He then presented the ACP Award to Tom Naratil, President, Americas, who accepted on the company’s behalf. Paul Hatch, Head of Advice and Solutions and Executive Sponsor of the UBS Veterans Network, offered closing remarks before attendees gathered for a networking and cocktail reception.

ACP would like to thank Maryam Shariat for planning such a wonderful afternoon.
