ACP Mentors and Protégés Gather at Boeing Facilities for Networking Event and Panel Discussion

On November 5, 2014, more than 50 ACP Mentors and Protégés gathered at Boeing facilities in Arlington, VA for a Networking Event and Panel Discussion on transitioning to corporate America.

The event was moderated by Boeing Veteran Employee Network President, Alex Cole, and began with a welcome message from Liz Hudin, Director of Human Resources. The evening continued with a discussion lead by Boeing Vice President and former Brigadier General, Leo Brooks, who spoke about finding success during the transition from the military to corporate America. Brooks then took part in a panel discussion that also featured Heather Bigley, Manager of Global Staffing; Sparky Olsen, ACP-Boeing Mentor; and ACP Protégé Don Drechsler. Answering questions from the audience, the panelists drew upon their own experiences to offer advice on how to make a rewarding transition to the civilian world. Afterward, guests had the opportunity to network while dining on light refreshments.

ACP would like to thank Liz Huldin, Vivian Harris, and Kim Clark of Boeing for planning this wonderful event!
