Board of Directors, Sentinels of Freedom
Lynne Pace, spouse of General Peter Pace, USMC (Ret.), is a member of the Board of Directors for the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing life-changing opportunities for severely wounded service personnel. She has served on the board for CARE and the Armed Services YMCA, and has worked with the USO, Americans With Disabilities, and the Fisher House Foundation.
Lynne is particularly interested in working to improve the quality of life for military personnel and their families. She is a frequent visitor to the Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Maryland, and Walter Reed hospital in Washington, DC, where she visits with injured service members and their families. She has been a Key Volunteer, and worked in the development of L.I.N.K.S. (Lifestyles, Insights, Networking, Knowledge, and Skills), a team-mentoring program designed to help spouses adapt to the unique challenges of military life.
Lynne has received numerous awards for her continued dedication and support to military families.
